Unfortunately I'm pretty sure that Balygill/Ballayilly would have been in the Treen of Ballagilley which included Corkill at Ballakilley Intack (there were several Intacks in Maughold), not my ones from Ballagorry Mooar. But very interesting all the same.

Just one thing, about Frances's will transcription, and your comment that "John - being the Eldest son" must have died. I don't think so necessarily, because no place name was given and there were several Corkill families who used John and William for eldest sons' names.
