I am not a Professional Researcher but am keenly interested in helping others with their histories. I was mainly looking for Thomas Lennox Seaton's birth entry. Recently I received his marriage certificate. He stated that he was born on the Isle of Man, age 35 when he married in 1899, his father Duncan Albert Seaton and mother Mary Catherine Duglass. This means he was born in 1864. The family think he was older than he said he was. One of his medals is for a battle at Ashantee dated 1873-1874. He was 9-10 then of born in 1864.He is a mystery.
