I've been looking at this again. Through the newspapers I found that Eliza Bridson was administrator of Wm Bridson's Will. Probate mentioned in the papers Thomas and Eliza v next of kin of Wm Bridson. Eliza was appointed Executrix but she requested that her husband was appointed in her stead. Has anyone discovered what the connection is between William Bridson and Thomas James and Eliza Christian Bridson. I haven't seen Wm's Will but according to the papers [which I know you can't always believe] his estate was £5000. A considerable sum for 1892. Surely he wouldn't have made that much money from rope / shoe -making?
