yes - but best of luck tracing back unless you hit on a will naming them - tailors were generally mobile - doesn't look as tho owned land which is generally the easier way of tracing in Patrick (the register only starts in 1714 when seperated from Kk German - and the earlier reg appears to have been lost) tho Dalby was also where James junr had a couple of children baptised from early 1840's - the only Christians in this area are I think Phill Christian + wife Grace Bridson - widow Grace Christian was noted as occuping the 3/4d part of intack #14 (noted as in mountains ) in 1793 lib assed noted with son Thos + Wm Killey (h/o of dau Elizth tho never found marriage) - however Dalby also included Barony land which is not easy to trace - also that part of the coast (mainly cliffs with only easy harbour at Niarbyl was home to many ag labs + fishermen ekeing out a precarious living
John Welch "6 days tour" - on MNB) described Dalby "which on account of its total seclusion from all society may be denominated ' the fag end of a God forgotten world'. The uncontaminated Manx breed of men and cats may be found here in all purity"
