We have "talked" about this before, in 2010, in a thread which you joined.
I wrote to Ann Ashworth:
"Ann, the dates and most of the information you have posted are on the IGI as submitted by LDS Church members.
The reason I am posting this message is because there is a third Church member's contribution which has his Birth as 24 MAR 1724 Isle Of Man and his Death: 23 MAR 1815 Putnam Valley, Putnam, New York, and his Parents as Father: John Christian, Mother: Averick Cain.
This is WRONG.

These parents are those of the fourth LDS entry near those birth dates (24 March 1724/25), which is the only entry extracted from the parish register:
RICHD CHRISTIAN Christening: 26 SEP 1726 Andreas, Isle Of Man, Father: JOHN CHRISTIAN.
This Richard Christian stayed in the IoM, married Ellinor Teare in Andreas in 1761, had 7 children in Andreas, and died in Feb.1803 [will]. He and his sisters are also mentioned in both parents' wills, and in other family wills.

Sorry, I haven't come across your Richard Christian, and would be grateful if you tell anyone who offers you this couple as being NY Richard's parents that the information is incorrect.
It looks as though his birth date has come from a U.S. MI or burial record which should be your starting point. Whoever hijacked the parents of Richard Christian bapt 26 Sept.1726 has not done even the most basic background checking which would have shown very quickly that they had the wrong person."

Have you looked for a burial or MI record?
