Gabriel is the baby of Richard, Sr and Christina. Richard's sons John, Richard Jr, William, George, and Charles all were soldiers in the American Revolution. Gab was too young. One son James (oldest) and one daughter, Margaret did not join in. I can find many things for Gabriel's line into the 20th century. But I'm a direct line from John. Cayuga County is less than and hour away and I've spent time with the County historian there when I had but the birthplace of my great grandfather. A repeat visit is in order.
One thing I've found is the family of Richard Christian had little imagination when it came to naming boys. Almost every brother named a son after his other brothers. This leads to numerous Richards, Johns, Jeremiahs, and James; all the same age!
When I find Richard I will post my findings.
