you can push the quayles of Kk Patk back a few generations - Thomas Quaile was miller in 1639 (and should be traceable further back via lib assed)

His son Wm is I think the father of Cornelius - however these need checking but mill rents come under the Lord and are entered in Lib Assed + changes noted in Lib Vas[vastarum] which are on microfilm = can be seen at museum (see manxnotebook for some details)
