Donna - be very cautious in using the IoM Fam His transcription of 1851 - first it is a transcription of a transcription (a local copy) and more importantly it is full of errors (the late Brian Lawson was prompted to do his own because of this) in this case the original copy has Mary Harley + margt born Ireland which I think agrees with with 1841 tho the enumerator is not very clear and the 'i' sould be 's'
Anne appears to be born in France but Brit subject though again not 100% clear on original
