Hi Gary , I agree with Sue , the birth on the IOM looks doubtful , and the name McCord on the IOM does not exist until 1901 when there is a Alice C McCord , and not young. From the 1841 census on there are a few McCard/McArds , but no sign of any Janes. There are only three Seymours on the census over the years.
Checked the free BMD UK site and there are no matches for William's birth or James' marriage .
My wife has a great uncle William (Willie) Clucas born 1895 in Malew , IOM.
