This is interesting. I had not picked up on this Kneen family before so I will attempt to look into them a bit further. Thanks also for the Mary Joughin suggestion. This would have made her only 16 at marriage, but that's not so extraordinary, I suppose, at the time. I haven't looked at the Bride registers to see if there's any annotation about her age. More to look for!
