John Kneen and Mary Joughen were married in 1777 in Bride, I believe (MNB), with 3 other children baptised in Ramsey. So I assume Mary was from Bride but I haven't managed to find any other records of her that quite make sense (and I'm not exactly certain which one of the 3 million John Kneens this one is!) So if Philip Allen has any suggestions, that would be great.
While you're there in Maughold, is there a record of marriage for 1 Aug 1844 for Hugh Kneen and Jane Cannell - does it mention their parents or their residences?
