I do think you need to see the film again for your own satisfaction. Hugh Kneen is recorded as baptised in the register 16th May 1824 with DOB 2nd Sep.1821 however I do not believe it means actually
baptised that day at the same time as brother William presumably a newborn. Perhaps the entry had been forgotten previously & when the parents tried to arrange a service for their new baby
the Vicar commented on Hugh not having been baptised. The parents must have been able to convince him of a clerical error because vertically in the margin it states [I think] Hugh Kneen
name recored by petition & order recored by Vicar. Perhaps the parents were able to produce witnesses ,godparents? , & get a correction. But am I still confused does this mean the Evan entry
on 3rd Sep 1821 name should have been Hugh?? Does it mean vicar heard Ewan as Hugh?
There seem to be a number of crossing out & corrections here & there on nearby pages.
