I've been trying to work out something that has been puzzling me for some time.
My GG-GF Hugh Kneen was christened 16 May 1824 (Ramsey), the same day as his younger brother William. It is noted in the transcript that Hugh's birthdate is 2 Sep 1821, so he is ~2.5 years old at this time.
Evan (maybe Ewan) Kneen was christened at Ramsey on 3 Sep 1821 and is never heard of again.
My first thought was twins with only one surviving.
But could Hugh have been Ewan/Evan? It seems a bit odd to christen him again.
