Not sure what you mean by John Crellin marrying three times? I think I had two?

1851 census shows Ann [KERMOD] 60 as a widow with her children (the children of John Crellin & Ann(e) Kermod(e) who married 25 JUL 1818 Patrick). There are 10 bapts on the IGI, 1820-1842, including John 30 unmarr. and his brother Joseph 8 who appeared with son John's family in 1861.

Later in 1851 son John married Ann CRETNEY who d.1857 possibly at the time of daughter Ann's birth (who was then bapt late?).

1861 census included Sarah Rebecca CRELLIN bapt 29 MAR 1861 Kirk German. Her father JOHN CRELLIN, Mother: ELIZABETH KERMODE [IGI] who married 2 Feb.1860 Braddan [submitted entry].
Her father was then 40 mariner b.Peel, and mother Elizabeth 31 b.Marown. Household included John's brother Joseph 19.

1871 census included John 50, Eliz 48, and [Sarah] Rebecca 10.
1881 census had John & Eliz 61 and 57 with Rebecca 20 and John 25 (who was 7 in 1861 and 16 in 1871).

Are you referring to John's daur Elizabeth in the 1861 census whose bapt I couldn't find? Perhaps it was at her birth, not Ann's, that her mother Ann died in 1857, and baptising her was overlooked? Ann was aged 4 in the 1861 census and Elizabeth aged 3.
