I understood that Brian asked that his indexes (and additions to them) would remain on open access when put online on the IOM FHS website. Wills in particular are transcribed by different people, not necessarily members of the FHS, and the FHS would make no claim to them. There is a big difference between their publications which were transcribed by volunteers and made available for sale in hard copy by the FHS, and indexes which have been compiled by individuals and made freely available online.
