BANKS - Maughold. 1922/3

Searching for info about BANKS family apparently living at Maughold in 1922/3.
My great uncle Richard Nightingale BANKS (born 1885 Manchester) sailed for Canada from Liverpool in 1923 and on his Form 30A Canadian Immigration form he listed his wife as living at Maughold, Ramsey, IOM, but no name. His occupation is listed as farmer / harvester, intending on settling in Canada, and headed for Winnipeg. He is also the informant on his fathers death certificate in 1922 in Stockport, Cheshire.
Unfortunately we do not know his wifes name, but she and her/their son are in a list of mourners at my grandfathers funeral in Stockport, in 1937 as "Mrs Banks, sister-in-law & N Banks, nephew". We have found no trace of the marriage or birth in the England BMD indexes, but the marriage must have taken place between 1911 and 1923.as Richard is the Canadian 1911 census as single, but he had returned to UK by 1912/3. We also dont know if she followed him to Canada after 1923.
I have looked up Manx BMD and no indication of a marriage, but are there other sources which may yield any clues to him or his wife around 1922/3 ?
Any help or advice appreciated!!
Many thanks!
Richard
