Thank you all who are trying to solve the mystery,

The info I have got is William Looney christened 1778 Maughold Father Peter Mother Catherine Claugh
another one christened 1777 father Wm Mother Mary Corkill and a different one Christened 1779 Maughhold Father John Mother Margt Hutchen.

Also I have a church of later day saints print out which shows christening records for a William and Dorthys children at Ramsey Catherine 1802

Isabella 1814 WM 1811 and Jane 1799

Another bit I found is that William was born about 1774 married Dorothy Feb 1799 at Maughold but their children were born at Ramsay.

Is this any help for finding out which William married Dorothy Joughin. Thanks Helen
