Good morning
The last cert I recieved was for Francis Worthington Corkill ( God I need to find my Glass's ) dated 30 June 1881 . Last night I started sorting through all my info and double checking everything . Origionaly I was given allot if Information from Joan Jordon from Invercargill from this I traced back to William Corkill who married Jane Stowell but Williams father was listed as Thomas ( always a problem are thomas's ) Well the Birth and Christening dates are all wrong the Year of Births are the Same . This list was generated by search the Latter Day saints web site . The Creetch- North information I believe would be more accurate , it also ties in with more of the information I have . The funny part of all this is that afew years ago I was involved with organising a Corkill - Taylor reunion in Otautau where we put a plaque on John Corkills grave , any way on the information we printed out we had a Thomas listed as Williams Father , this I now know incorrect will have to find Joan who has retired to Winton and go over all my research again . When I started all this 10 years ago i was hard not to jump to conclussions when using the LDS website I have always tried to cross reference and check with certificates if possible . ny help with information would be greatly appreciated , My Partner and I am off to the Isle of Man at Christmas she has family over there so e will have a goo time for 4-5 weeks only 288 days untill we fly out not that Im counting , lookin forward to hearing from you
