I had forgotten about Donna's file and looked up the censuses again for my Archives 2 response to Ray, now deleted. I did keep some notes and you might like to add that the 1851 census place was Port Cranstall, Bride (Charles Christian 74 etc.) Close by were William Joughin (46) yeoman farmer and wife Elizabeth (41) both b.Bride, with several children including a Margaret aged 9, which I thought might be significant, but apparently not!
