This [below] is one of the messages which was posted recently on Archives 2, and has now vanished, along with another 20 or so messages.
There is a lot of information about the Bruce family in the archived messages (one thread under "Robert Bruce") but little or nothing about Margaret Ann Joughin. I've asked Philip Allen whether he can answer it, and hope to track down Ray Bruce to bring him back to the BB.

I will tell you all I know about robert bruce and his marriages.
Robert was on the property Glentruan.Born 1813 malew died 11/6/1899 bride aged
88 years
Married ann christian 6th may 1848. She died june 29th 1871 aged 44 years. She
was the daughtr of charles and esther christian.
On the 13th feb 1882 robert married Margaret ann joughin.She died on the 17
jan 1933 aged 89 years.
She died at Glentruan.
her will says that she left her total estate to her sister Jane crowe
(joughin) children.
She was the wife of John joseph crowe.
The children are
alfred crowe
eliza jane wife of thomas cormode
rebecca wife of william boyde.
I am looking for more information on Robert Bruce through these family
connections if possible?
