I used to visit the message board every day. The differences between the old board and the new one have put me off visiting for well over a week, hoping that by the time I revisited everything would be sorted out. Hmm....

Can anyone tell me how to use the search facility on the Archives? The results still don't go right back to 1996: The earliest message in Archive 1 is on p.263, dated 4.12.1996 and is headed "Re: Caley Clan" (although the original message it refers to is not there). If you search on Caley Clan or Caley +Clan the message comes up "Sorry, No matches for caley clan".

Also, if you use the forward/back arrows at the top or bottom of the Archive 1 pages, you find that between page 184 (earliest message 13 Dec 1999) and page 263 (4 Dec 1996) the only content is the message "No messages have been posted in the date range". Any ideas what that's about?

I did send a message via the 'Trouble ticket' button asking if search results could once again be in date order of message, as previously, but have not had a reply. Has anyone?

I think the search function is the worst, most depressing change on the board. Even if you quote exactly what it says on a message heading it won't be at the head of the list..

Are Admin still working on changes/improvements, do you know, or is this the final version?
