I had hoped that you would share your Adam Cain / Patrick Cain b 1712 / Patrick Cain b 1737 bible details with other users of this board. In the future there will be other descendants of this Cain family who will use the "search old messages" facility, who would be helped enormously in their research by reading the transcriptions of the handwritten words from that missing family bible.

If you calculate how many living descendants there are of your Adam Cain b circa 1680, a reasonable estimate would be several hundred, maybe even several thousand --- all distant cousins of yours. After 300 years, eight generations of your particular line have been generated, and in some branches of the family there may be as many as twelve generations.

In previous messages, you have written that you "have learned to become a sharing person", so I thought that you'd be happy to produce this information for others to see.
