Re: Caroline Jane Lucy Chistian

My question is at the end of this line of descendants of Thomas Phillip Christian, bear with me....
Robert Oates Christian m. Jane Sayle
son Thomas Phillip m. Julia Longford Mellor -> son John Longford Mellor Christian

John Longford Mellor Christian m. Christian Faith Kelly -> son John Longford Lee Crellin

Christian
dau of Thomas Phillip Christian ->Jane Sayle Christian (chr. 1859, France) m. Edward Crellin, among others
->son John Sayle Christian and dau. Jane Sayle Christian Crellin*
I have the will (May 15th, 1919) of Jane Sayle Christian Crellin* who was a cousin to John Longford Mellor Christian. In her will she bequeaths her estate, etc., to her “dearly loved Caroline Jane Lucy Christian,” (unless she marries a “member of the Roman Catholic Church”), and in the event of Caroline Jane Lucy Christian’s death, all would go to her cousin John Longford Mellor Christian or his heirs (of which one is my grandfather, John Longford Lee Crellin Chrstian) if he is dead by then. Caroline Jane Lucy Christian, Spinster, exercised a petition in 1927 to the will of Jane Sayle Christian Crellin, affirming the sale of some of the property and the distribution of remaining property to John Longford Lee Crellin Christian upon her death. My grandfather John Longford Lee Crellin Christian inherited the proceeds of the sale of The Nook and Cooil Roi cottages from his “cousin” Caroline upon her death. I would like to know where Caroline Jane Lucy Christian fits in; it appears that she might be a daughter of one of Jane Sayle Christian Crellin’s brothers. Can you confirm that this may be a correct assumption?
