I don't have a subscription to Ancestry.com any more, but I just searched for Charles' name anyway. I've found all except the 1890 census, which is probably because of a typo in the spelling of his name.
The one that interests me the most is the US 1900 census in which he lists his wife's name as being 'Salina'. I wonder if she and the children were there with him because I can't find Selina anywhere in England or the Isle of Man in 1891 & 1901 ... or maybe he was just being honest in giving his wife's name even though he hadn't seen her in years?

If anyone has a copy of that particular 1900 US census, I'd appreciate knowing the rest of the info from it. Also, if anyone has a subscription to Ancestry, could you please look it up?
Thanks so much,
