I'm interested to know if she was related to the Looney family into which William's daughter Sarah married, a William Looney. Also William's son, John Henry married a Mary Alice Looney in 1894. Seems to be a number of Shimmin marriages into Looney families - I've often wondered if the Looney's are related. Perhaps we can compare notes.
