I went to the graveyard and saw the graves myself.
Elizabeth Shimmin died 12.12.1850 aged 43

A loving friend and mother dear

A tender wife lieth here

Great is the loss that we sustain

But hope in Christ to meet again
Also Richard Shimmin of the Eary died 04.07.1859 aged 55
Also Elinor died 18.06.1848 aged 14

William Sayle died 15.06.1917 aged 73
Mary Ann (Shimmin) wife of the above died 17.08.1928 aged 82
W.Richard (son) died 20.08.1885 aged 11
Andrew P. (son) died 27.03.1887 aged 11

The graves were at St Marks churchyard which is different to Malew although it is part of Malew.

I had noted the info on William Henry Shimmin's grave but only recorded the year of Caroline's death.

My quest at the moment is Elizabeth Shimmin b C1886 to William Henry Shimmin who I think may be a grandson of Caroline's husband.
Just wish I didn't keep getting side-tracked
