Baptismal registry commenced 25th April 1622.
By an Act of Tynwald, promulgated on the 26th February 1847, the new parish church was ordered to be built on the land presented by Philip Killey of Douglas, brewer; being part of the estate of Balla-Willey-Killey, or Balla-Yemman-beg, with the churchyard to the same.-Gell's Statutes, pp. 113-117.
