ORDER THAT MARC, BISHOP OF SODOR, REPAIR TO KING EDWARD.

A.D. 1296.

IT is commanded to Robert de Joneby, bailiff of Dumfries, that he bring to the King at Berewyk, the venerable prelate Marc, bishop of Sodor, there to make the allegiance which he owes to his lord the King.

Witness the King at Berewyk on Twede, 29th day of August.

MANDATUR QUOD MARCUS, EPISCOPIJS SODORENSIS, AD REGEM EDWARDUM ACCEDAT.
