OUTLAWRY OF DONEKAN MACTORYN ANNULLED.

A.D. 1293.

THE King, superior lord of the kingdom of Scotland, to all bailiffs and his faithful subjects, to whom, &c., greeting. Since the record and trial held before our beloved and faithful Walter de Huntercumbe, late bailiff of our Island aforesaid respecting the outlawry pronounced against Donekan Mactoryn by judges of courts held in the said Island, by the aforesaid our Bailiff, for certain offences committed by the aforesaid Donekan against our peace, as it is said, and inflicted by the same, our Bailiffs, upon him, have been inspected and carefully examined before us and our council, and that in the said record and trial a manifest error has been found, we wholly annul the said outlawry in our said council, being unwilling that the said Donekan should, from this time fòrth be injured in any respect or aggrieved by any one by occasion of the said outlawry. In testimony, &c. Witness the King at Westminster the 28th day of June. By the king and council.
