This is the second section of the second volume of SP 42 which covers the period 1777-1783 - each leaf of the bound volume is numbered (this is the page number in above table). Some documents are enclosed with others - usually noted as [enc].
It is intended more as a finding aid than as full abstracts of each paper.
The dates are ISO standard format year month day;

Lord Suffolk - Secretary of State at Home Office for the northern district,
later replaced by Lord Stormont then by Lord North
Richard Dawson - appointed Lt Governor when Capt Hope was recalled to his Regiment,
later Lt Govr under Govr Smith

Charles Lutwidge - appointed
by Treasury as Receiver General - died in 1784

Duke of Atholl - this is the
