The sale of tithes for the benefit of the widows of clergymen is being investigated. Mr. Quayle has purchased a stallion and some mares "of the lowest size" and intends to breed from them on the Calf. The picture that "the Governor was so careful of that he took it into his own house" he has presented to you,and it is now in London. |
