The Goodwin Scrapbooks were collected by Edmund Goodwin (his younger brother George also collected information) they were gathered from a number of sources (some obvious some not so eg Probate reports in the local press), together with a large amount of anecdotal material. The Goodwins lived in Peel hence a strong emphasis on Peel-based families. The scrapbooks occupy several hundred pages arranged by family name - they are in the Manx Museum but also available on Mormon microfilm. They can provide leads not found elsewhere but much care is needed.

The material was used in various articles eg Old Peel and also as a series of articles in the Manx Press - Manx Annals
