My G-grandfather ,Thomas Gawne B Ballaugh 1825 he was the son of John Gawne+Ann (Boyde),he emigrated to Aust in 1849.
His ancestors all eminated from Ballaugh,they have been traced back abt 1520.
All of his siblings emigrated to USA including his father after his mother died.
