I don't know if this would be of interest for your exhibition. I was browsing through the photos section on Ancestry and came across this link to a Gawne/ Boyde family from Ballaugh who emigrated to Cuyahoga, Ohio in the 1850s. There are old photos and an old letter dated 1871.

John Gawne bap 20 Oct 1822 Ballaugh, son of John Gawne 1797-1873 Ballaugh and Ann Boyde 1800-1856 Ballaugh.
