Only just seen your message as I have been on holiday. Thanks for confirming that the Raven was once named the Ballaugh Hotel. On one of our visits to the island we went in and had a drink there but the staff were too busy so we never made any enquiries but I had a feeling that it was the same place and now you have confirmed this, so many thanks.
