It is many months since i asked about this family, and recently I have found Morag's info and have found a connection, I hope! My husband is descended from Richard 1775/Ann Duke, and William 1812 and his daughter Jane. We have a book by Thomas B Costain, the historical author, which says to 'My cousin Lillian', signed Thomas B. Lillian is Jane's daughter. So my question is, please can anyone with the info look up and see which one in the family was baptised JOHN HERBERT COSTAIN about 1850 as this is Thomas B's father, born IOM and emmigrated to Canada. John's father was also John. There are several Costains in the same place in the Canadian 1891 census all born IOM. Can any one help me please. Thank you
