thanks for the information I will look up the family history centre, I found Brian lawsons website and have also been looking on Gene reunited but this surname/ illigitimate thing is confusing, do I need to look under his mother maiden name as well as Quayle ? always presuming I pick the right mother for him
just though - if I send for the death certs of the child they had, it will show me where they lived in 1899 so I may be able to trace him from that
is there anywhere I can trace where he worked?
