The marriage Cert I have got shows his name as William George(hence the confusion)
he married 11 June 1899 to Esther Catherine Clarke. (I know my mothers,mothers name was this and as I carnt find another Esther I am working that this is correct)
they married parish church Kirk Braddan -, William was living at 4 Duke Lane at the time, Esther was living at 33 South Quay - I can trace her side of the family but stuck with him - I will try the library at Sheffield they did say they had access to Ancestory but not sure if theyhave the Isle of Man record but I will ask them or perhaps I may try the one at Huddersfield as this is where my mother was born
