I still perceive we may have two families here or one John connected to the wrong person. There appears to be two possible candidates as the spouse of Jane Quayle.
1) John Garrett chr 1 Sep 1799 Kk Michael or
2)John Garrett ch 16 Dec 1787 Lezayre

What is the source that confirms John Garrett (1787) is the spouse of Jane Quayle? In this time period, the marriage of a bride and groom from the same parish is more likely than that of a bride from Kk Michael with a groom from Lezayre.

In the meantime, I'm keeping an open mind about which is correct until such time as source information determines.
