I have been considering another possibility:

The IGI has a christening of an Anne Jane CALLOW 14 Sep 1864, Maughold, daughter of Mary CALLOW. No husband stated.

Maybe this is the one.

There is an Annie CALLOW (15) domestic servant at the Dhoon Hotel in 1881 Census, which could be her, although she is from Lonan.
