strictly nothing - in practice the Manx (and no doubt other dioceses) recognised as two components of the actual baptism (ie pouring of water or dipping) and the reception of the infant into the congregation
If the child was sickly the baptism might be private (ie held in the house) with the child if it survived later having an official welcome to the congrgation - sometimes different names were used for this
