I am enjoying reading the posts in this section. Glitz, glitter, sparkle--oh my! Genealogy is one of the most popular hobbies or as I prefer obsessions in the world but if one cares to look around most of us are WELL beyond middle age. The reason for this is simple--it takes a LOT of time to do genealogy--time that most of us didn't have in our younger years when working, rearing families or whatever. The computer has surely revolutionized genealogy that is for sure. And bless the Mormons no matter your spiritual persuasion, and all the wonderful online people who have made boards like this possible. Our own and wonderful Frances, Greg and Sue are to be cherished and no words were enough for Brian. Each of us in our own way contributes one to the other, we help each other as we can, we share our info, Liz treks thru wet and muddy cemetaries to get pictures, others slog thru the Manx Museum, etc etc. This is one of the greatest communities I've ever been a part of and I hope nobody does anything to disrupt us. I know the younger
entrepreneurs and techies probably think we
are outdated and all of that but you know all of this works just really great and most of us know just how it all works. We know how to post our queries and get our info and communicate with one another and it is really great. We appreciate being able to do this and I for one hope we can continue to do so in as easy a way as we have been doing.
