Re: Edmond Gellin
In Response To: Edmond Gellin ()

Hi Richard

The surname is almost certainly Gelling, and since Edmund is uncommon, I put Edward into Familysearch and came up with an Edward Gelling, baptised 14th March 1824 in Santon, to parents John Gelling and Elinor Corrin.

Then trying to see if John and Elinor had any other children, I came up with this---

Results for: Isle of Man, British Isles
Father: John Gelling, Mother: Elinor Corrin

2. ELLEANOR GELLING - International Genealogical Index

Then I looked in Ancestry 1841 census, but nothing conclusive there. However, the 1851 census revealed an interesting family --Conchan district 7, page 57. Have you got a subscription to Ancestry ?

I'll keep looking for anything else that might be useful.
