I checked the official transcript of Kk Michael marriages for that period - there is no marriage Robert Cannell to jane corjeage in the reg - I have not yet checked the 1911 official copy against the actual marr reg but I have found very very few errors(and generally only minor errors at that) in the official copy.

There is one added complication in Kk Michael in that there are two marriage registers - one is however a copy by the Rev Brown (+ his son early 19th C) - this second copy does have several errors when compared with the early register in that entries are omitted and in a couple of cases confused.

There were however children to a Robert Cannell + a Jane Cor(t)jeage from Dec 1777 but the entries have no additional info
