There is this passage on John Black, no other names in the right areas.
"The inventory of John Black, another Scottish merchant who became a naturalised Manxman, reveals a similar degree of affluence. Black appears to have settled in Ramsey some time in or before 1651. He traded as a merchant stranger until 1654, when, after being 'for several yeares past a shopkeeper and inhabitor in Ramsey towne,' he paif 13s 4d to become a 'free denizon' of the island.
When he died ten years later, in 1664, Black left a personal estate amounting to £198 16s 3d., although he does not appear to have lived in especial comfort. There was no silver amongst his household goods, all the plates and utensils being of wood, earthenware, pewter or horn."
It would be cool to just get one name request at a time though, that way if the names are there I can reply quickly, and it wont mean I spend an afternoon typing!
Hope that helps.
