the Douglas Presbyterian faction joined in with Saml Haining (Athol St chapel) from c. 1818 until c. 1825 when they seperated - St Andrews opened 1832. However there was another Presbyterian group centred on Ramsey who in 1829 petitioned for help in building a church.
