Thanks, Brian. I bought a lot of photocopies of various churchyards' M.I. transcripts and plans from the FHS, rather than the whole volumes, because of air travel weight contraints.

Liz has very kindly offered to have a look for me following John's excellent directions, so I'll see how she goes.

There are some errors in the churchyard M.I. plans - I wasn't able to find a M.I. in Jurby - but this was found later a few metres away from where it was shown on the map. And of course some stones have fallen over since the FHS transcripts were published.
