Bob, a burial is in the Maughold register as "Margaret Jane LOONEY aged 13 mths, College St, Ramsey, buried Apr 16 1873".
Your record looks as though it has come from a M.I., and possibly the name and age were worn, unless there were two of their children buried that year.
Margaret Jane daur of Thomas Looney & Mary Ann was bapt 6 Dec.1872 in Ramsey.
I think the Daniel Looney from Maughold who married as a widower in 1840 was the son of John Looney & Margaret Hutchen bapt 21 Jun 1789. Their first son named Daniel died about 10 days after his bapt.
As he was a widower he must have had a previous marriage, and the marriage to Esther Christian in 1823 seems to be the only possible one, apart from the Daniel Looney marriage to Ann COWIN in Lonan on 6 Nov 1813, which would be worth following up to see where he was from.
Did you have a reason for thinking that the Daniel who married Esther Christian had had a previous marriage?
It is possible that the Danl who married Ann Cowin was one of the Daniels bapt in Maughold in the mid-1700s - another 2nd marriage?
Donna Douglass may be able to help with a Maughold M.I. for any Daniel Looney and family? And if there was one for Daniel Looney/Callow from College St. Ramsey, in 1862? Many thanks, Donna, if you wouldn't mind looking!
