Have you followed through the censuses of William Callow born circa 1857 and his family?
His children were born in four different parishes and as the younger children were born, the older ones were kicked out. On the 1901 census William the father suddenly becomes "John William" (just to fool you).
I am using a trial Ancestry.uk and can email you directly the original census sheets through Ancestry.uk if you are interested.
Following the censuses may convince you that you have the right conection.

I think that William Callow, the father was buried in 1924 DBC age 66 and Sarah Ca;llow was buried in 1931 DBC age 77. Perhaps an MI if there is one, might shed some light.
