The official transcript of the kirk Michael register is on Mormon microfilm - I believe the original is now deposited in the Manx Museum - whether it will be displayed depends on its condition and what queries you have with the transcript (which btw is on film - the original transcript being held at General Registry) - from my own checking of several parish registers the 1911 transcript is generally excellent (not so the mormon IGI supposedly derived from it - turning a silk purse into a sow's ear must a local custom in SLC).

You may find the Island a lot quieter than the multi-cultural Leicester
